Manual Starting
2 outboard questions:?
I am thinking about having a outboard with a external tank (25hp 4 stroke), I see people pump the fuel in, about 3 times to start. Will I need to keep pumping while using the motor?
Also if I had remotes, is the choke on the remotes or on the engine?
I am thinking about a (manual start 25hp4 stroke fitted with remotes)
Thanks
the pump on the line is to prime the flow and once they start running the fuel is naturally drawn from the tank (no air in the line) so no you don’t need to continue to “prime” the motor
